Topic Pages Navigation

Topic pages within the Food Domain web site are any web page one click off of the main home page. For example, click on the Industry Information image. A new page will display in place of the previous page. You can return to the previous page by a variety of methods. This first method is the tried-and-true Back button featured in the upper toolbar of the browser window (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator). However, the Food Domain web site has a link built into the navigation of the site. There is a Return Home link in the top graphic on this page. This graphic also contains links to other pages within the web site so you do not have to return to the home page in order to access other areas of the site. Notice the graphical toolbar above the text on this page. The links are the same as the images in the semi-circle design from the home page.

Most topic pages have a similar format with text to the right of a box containing bulleted links. The bulleted links lead to more specific topic pages within the Food Domain. Some of the bulleted links on similar pages lead to pages from other web sites, like the Michigan State University web site. As an example, click the bulleted link Food Laws & Regulations. The page “refreshes” and the text on the right changes featuring new links and information.
