Food
Safety The MSUE Food Safety AoE Team was established in 1999 and has made considerable progress towards refining its purpose and initiating food safety-related educational activities. The Team's vision, mission, curriculum (DACUM), mode of operations, and areas of focus have been determined. Two formative evaluations have been completed by the Team members to assess the Team development process. A food safety web site and a listserv (aoe_foodsafety@listserv.msue.msu.edu) have also been established. The Team created three work groups - Consumer Education, Social Dimensions, and Professional Training - to address each of the areas of focus. These work groups are self-functioning units that initiate and complete the tasks needed to conduct a variety of food safety-related educational activities. Their accomplishments include: |
