About the Food Domain: Marketers


Marketers
Food marketers are present throughout the food domain. They help to sell food and food products for producers, commodity handlers, processors, manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and retailers. Most marketers do this by increasing communication between the sellers and buyers. For example, if a food marketer is helping a wholesaler sell food items to food retailers, the food marketer communicates with the retailers to tell them what the wholesaler is selling, how they benefit from buying the wholesaler's products and how they can purchase the wholesaler's products. The food marketer also tells the wholesaler how the retailers reacted to the products.
